These terms apply when you buy from The Wonder Curriculum, use our PDF lessons or join a Wonder Family plan. Please read them before you order. If anything is unclear, email us at [email protected].
About us
The Wonder Curriculum is a home education business based in the United Kingdom. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean The Wonder Curriculum, and "you" means the person buying from us. You can contact us at [email protected] or through our contact form.
Ordering
- When you place an order, you'll get an email confirming we've received it. Our contract with you starts when we send that confirmation.
- All prices are in pounds sterling and include any taxes.
- If we've made a clear mistake with a price or description, we'll tell you before your order goes ahead, and you can choose to continue at the right price or cancel for a full refund.
- Payments are handled securely by Shopify and its payment partners. We never see or store your full card details.
Printed books and delivery
- Delivery is free on UK orders of the Family Set. We send every order by registered post, and UK orders usually arrive in 3–5 days. For other countries, the shipping cost is shown in your basket before you pay.
- We'll send your order as soon as we can and keep you updated if there's a delay.
- The books are yours once they've been delivered and paid for.
PDF lessons and how you can use them
When you buy a PDF lesson, or get one through a Wonder Family plan, we give you a licence to use it with your own family. That means you can:
- download it, keep it and print as many copies as your own household needs;
- use it with all the children in your family, as often as you like.
Please don't share, sell, upload or pass on the files or printed copies to anyone outside your household, or use them with a class, co-op or group. If you'd like to use our lessons with a group, email us and we'll be happy to talk about it.
All our lessons, illustrations, journals and website content belong to The Wonder Curriculum and are protected by copyright.
Wonder Family plans
- The Wonder Family app is free. Our paid plans (Wonder Family, Weekly Wonder and Wonder Family Plus) give you lessons to download, through lesson credits, the Weekly Wonder, or both.
- Plans are paid monthly or yearly, and renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. We'll take payment on the same card each time.
- Each lesson credit can be used for one PDF lesson in the Wonder Library, and lasts 6 months from the day you receive it.
- You can cancel at any time. You won't be charged again, and your plan carries on until the end of the period you've already paid for. Unused credits stay available until they expire.
- Every lesson you've downloaded, including your Weekly Wonders, is yours to keep after you cancel.
- If we ever change a plan's price, we'll email you at least 30 days before it applies to you, so you can cancel first if you'd like to.
Cancelling, returns and refunds
Your rights to cancel, return books and get a refund, including how they work for PDF lessons and plans, are set out in our Returns and Refunds Policy, which forms part of these terms.
Your legal rights
Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights as a consumer. If something you buy from us is faulty or not as described, you're entitled to a repair, replacement or refund.
Our responsibility to you
Our lessons are designed to be used by families with a parent or carer's guidance. Some activities, such as experiments, nature walks or crafts, need adult supervision, so please read each Parent Guide and decide what's right for your children.
We're responsible for loss or damage you suffer that's a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or not taking reasonable care. We're not responsible for loss that wasn't foreseeable, or for business losses. We don't limit our responsibility where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
Your account
Please keep your Wonder Family login details to yourself. If we have reason to think an account is being used to share lessons outside a family, or in breach of these terms, we may suspend it after contacting you.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you place an order is the one that applies to it. If a change affects your plan, we'll let you know by email first.
The law that applies
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in your local courts. If you have a problem, please email us first, and we'll do our best to put it right.
